There are several options for you to get to the island of Hvar from Split. There is an organized bus shuttle service from t the airport to the port of Split, wwhich takes around 30 minutes. From Split port you can choose from several ferry and catamaran lines, depending on your final destination on the island of Hvar (Stari Grad, Jelsa, Hvar town).  Stari Grad and Sućuraj ferries take cars and Hvar town has pedestrian-only catamarans. Buses to Hvar city meet ferries coming into Stari Grad (buses do not meet the car ferry in Sućuraj). There are catamaran lines from Split to the town of Jelsa with a quick stop at Bol (neighbouring  Brač island ) and direct catamaran lines from Split to Hvar that run all year (although more frequently in the summer).
