ISLAND HVAR VOTED NO. 7 BEST ISLAND IN EUROPE BY TRAVEL + LEISURE

We are thrilled to announce that the island of Hvar has been named as the #7 Best Island in Europe by Travel and Leisure’s World’s Best Awards.

Travel and Leisure is one of the most influential magazines based in New York City with a total of 4.8 million readers globally. Its focus is on providing travel inspiration and information about some of the best destinations and properties in the world. Just recently they announced the winners for Best Islands in 2019, which featured Hvar and the Dalmatian islands.

Island of Hvar is a highly visited place, loved by many for its pristine nature, stunning beaches and history, also serving as a center point for island hopping to other nearby islands.

Every year Travel + Leisure asks readers to share their stories about their experiences and opinions relating to their travel around the world. Readers were able to rate islands in Europe according to their activities and sights, natural attractions and beaches, food, friendliness, and overall value.

Among the top three were Greek islands Mílos, followed by Crete and the island of Azores in Portugal. Hvar was in high seventh place, in front of European islands of Mallorca, Sardinia, Malta, Ischia and others.
